Under the “A Place of One’s Own – A Beautiful Life” housing assistance programme, several newly constructed houses in the Mannar District were ceremonially declared open.These houses were built under the allocations made for the Mannar District in the year 2025 through this project. For 2025, the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) allocated a sum of LKR 160 million for housing construction in the Mannar District.
