Under the “Own a Home – A Beautiful Life” housing assistance program of the National Housing Development Authority, foundation stones were laid for the construction of three proposed houses.

These foundation stones were laid under the patronage of Hon. Anura Karunatilaka, Minister of Civil Aviation and Ports. The houses are being constructed for the beneficiaries Ms. Achini Nadeesha Daranagama of Siyambalapewatta, Ms. Ksharmila Swarnamali of Meegahawatta East, and Ms. M.A. Kusum Thilaka, all residing in the Biyagama Divisional Secretariat Division of the Gampaha District.

The Gampaha District Office of the National Housing Development Authority is responsible for coordinating the program, providing housing assistance of LKR 1 million, offering technical guidance, and supervising the future development activities.
