Under the new housing program of the present government, the National Housing Development Authority recently laid

Under the new housing program of the present government, the National Housing Development Authority recently laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new house in the Galle District.

On this occasion, the foundation stone was laid for the house of Mrs. K.G. Tharushee Imalsha, located in the Attiligoda South Grama Niladhari Division of the Galle Divisional Secretariat Division.

The National Housing Development Authority launched this housing program to address the housing problems of the poor and low-income earners and thereby reduce poverty. Through this program, each beneficiary is granted Rs. 1 million to construct their house.

Several government officials attended this event.
