Under the current government’s housing program, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the house of Mr. J. M. Indika Sanjeewa and Mrs. N. C. Dilhani Panandu, located in the Kerawalapitiya Grama Niladhari Division of Wattala Divisional Secretariat Division in Gampaha District, was held on 07 August 2025 under the Shelter Assistance Program for All.

The event was attended by the Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Kushantha Abeysekara, along with other state officials.
