Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA), Mr. Aravinda Sirinath, recently undertook an inspection tour

Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA), Mr. Aravinda Sirinath, recently undertook an inspection tour of the Soyzapura apartment complex. During the visit, discussions were held regarding the legal background pertaining to the issuance of ownership deeds for the apartments to beneficiaries, as well as issues faced by the current apartment owners.

In addition, the Chairman participated in a discussion with the Chairman of the Moratuwa Municipal Council, Mr. Nishantha Pradeep Fernando. They also discussed the court order related to the removal of unauthorized shops currently operating on the land belonging to the Soyzapura apartment complex, which is under the jurisdiction of the Condominium Management Authority.

The Chairman instructed the relevant authorities to prepare an estimate for the renovation of the apartment complex and to construct alternative shops in place of the unauthorized ones.
